1.   Taxus SI

          Taxus SI Ltd. is a computer company targeted in development of information systems for forestry and environment protection sector. Our mission is: delivering complex solutions to customers using Geographical Information Systems, Database technologies and developing dedicated applications according to the our customer. Systems developed by Taxus SI Ltd. work in a variety of business processes in companies and institutions. We offer a broad range of services: from the development and implementation of GIS to system integration and trainings.

          The Company develops and implements numerical maps in different formats, creates Numerical Terrain Models, ortophotomaps, photomaps. Data collection and veryfication, map, satellite and air image processing are another steps, Taxus is taking, to provide precision and accuracy of final products and services. We carefully select programming tools according to the customer needs and system features. That’s why most of Taxus projects are dedicated solutions with a strong relation between spatial and descriptive databases. Taxus also develops dedicated software for numerical map edition like GIS viewers or GIS tools for  PDA, popular in polish forest market.

          C++ library for visualization of spatial data. Originally designed for mobile devices. Now successfully utilized on “big” windows with .Net wrapper .

           TAKSATOR  (Forest Management planning)
           Tool for optimization of succession of forest cutting according the detailed description of the forest in the database and a spatial dependences. Desktop application written in C# with TML.
